Nana and Buppa here. Today is the day to renew our annual membership to madd--mothers against drunk driving. We've been members for quite a few years, but can't remember when we joined, but do remember getting the info and lots of calls asking for donations and finally decided to help. How horrible it must be for a parent to lose a child unneccesarily (accident, NOT serious illness of some such, over which we have no control). As hard as it is to understand, 1 in 3 persons will be affected by the horrific crime of drunk driving at some point in their life. As our family has increased with weddings and grandchildren, we have many more loved ones in our immediate circle to worry about and pray that they will never meet with this misfortune.
