Day 319: Dover Sherborn Education Fund

Well it's that time of year again.....early February.....when the Dover-Sherborn Education Fund holds a two day phon-a-thon to raise money for the four schools in Dover and Sherborn.  It's a remarkable campaign that started in 1984 and has since raised over $3,000,000 dollars used to fund grants for the schools.  So many major classroom expenses, especially in the areas of technology, are not covered in the annual school budget.  So the DSEF seeks to support the school staff and curriculum budget through funding special projects, student services and activities, and new equipment.  I believe the DSEF efforts help maintain the outstanding reputation the DS school sytem has earned statewide. And certainly, we have seen the academic benefits in our three daughters.

So when the volunteer callers ring your line.....How can you say anything but YES?
