Can one family of five, plus two grandparents, combine efforts and commit to one act of service each day, for one year? Paul, Patricia, twins Bianca & Olivia (age 18), Sophia (age 11), and their Nana and Buppa, plan to honor the 10 year anniversary of the loss of my sister with a year dedicated to service. Together, with maybe the help of a relative here or there, we will commit to 365 days of volunteering, contributing or supporting, in appreciation of what we have.... and who we have lost.

Day 281: Bottle Redemption for the Lion's Club
Well it's New Years Eve day, and it's been a full week of entertaining and social festivities that have left a lot of empty beer bottles in the Cutler household! We know that our friends at the Sherborn Transfer Station, who support eye disease research through The Lion's Club, are eager to receive these redeemable bottles. So today we donated the motherload of bottle returns to support a most deserving cause. Happy New Year to all and may the gift of sight be within reach to all in 2012.
