For the season of Advent, we have been trying to give a food donation to the Food Pantry once a week, so today was our day to drop off 2 bags of various food items. The basket was empty so I was glad to be able to put somethings in it. Heard on the television that there are so many homeless and hungry out on the streets, in fact, they showed a man all wrapped up in a blanket, not wanting to get up and go into a place to eat--scary! I think that our Food Pantry takes care of families where the breadwinner is out of work--hopefully, temporarily. No matter what the reason, it gives one a wonderful feeling to know they are "feeding the hungry."
