Day 261: Poinsettia Cheer for House-Bound Neighbors

St. Theresa's in Sherborn, like Nana's church in Waltham, is participating in a Giving Tree program to bring holiday gifts to the needy.  Ours is called a "Bethlehem Tree", and in addition to purchasing "wish list items' for an underprivileged member of the community, parishioners could also choose to purchase a poinsettia plant for a neighbor who is housebound during the season.  Today, Sophia and I brought our pretty little plant to church when we went to Mass.  I especially missed Bianca and Olivia at church today as Sophia and I were drafted to bring up the gifts and I would have happily passed the honor on to my lovely twins!!
