Just back from Thanksgiving weekend in Bethesda and when stopping for groceries on the way home, we saw the familiar bell ringers of the Salvation Army at the store entrance. Although it's hard to believe it is indeed that time of year to "Hear The Bells" (can't resist a reference to that song from Hairspray since we just flew in from Baltimore!) we see the local lights and holiday cheer everywhere....... are we happy to start the season by dropping a little something into the bright red kettle.http://www.salvationarmyusa.org/
