Yesterday was as beautiful as a sad day can get. Ruth's funeral at St. Jude's Church was a remarkable tribute that celebrated her commitment to faith, family, friends and community. It was suggested that, in leui of flowers, donations to be made to St. Jude School, in Ruth's memory. Today, we were happy to support the Rinck/Roche alma mater by contributing to the fund established in Ruth's name. Can one family of five, plus two grandparents, combine efforts and commit to one act of service each day, for one year? Paul, Patricia, twins Bianca & Olivia (age 18), Sophia (age 11), and their Nana and Buppa, plan to honor the 10 year anniversary of the loss of my sister with a year dedicated to service. Together, with maybe the help of a relative here or there, we will commit to 365 days of volunteering, contributing or supporting, in appreciation of what we have.... and who we have lost.
