It's that time of year again, when the many local organizations dedicated to feeding, clothing and serving the area homeless will send their mass-mailing appeals for holiday support. The Boston Rescue Mission just sent a note announcing their current campaign: Complete Thanksgiving Dinner Only $1.92. Who knew that was even possible?!! Clearly it's not like Thanksgiving dinner at Nana's, but equally clear is that a small amount of money goes a long way in certain circles where folks are just trying to put the basics on the table.
